Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

As per subsection (1) of Section 88 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), the Government shall by notification in the Gazette, constitute a Circle Cooperative Union for each circle in the state. Elections to the Circle Cooperative Union mentioned above were held by the Returning officer appointed as per rule 129 of the Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, after due publication of the notification. The Government have decided to notify the Circle Cooperative Union constituted with the elected representative and exofficio members for Muvattupuzha Circle Cooperative Union.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
