G.O.(P)No.2/2026/Co­op Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 01  st   January  ,    2026 17th Dhanu, 1201 S. R. O. No. 18/2026

WHEREAS, under the provision to sub­rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative   Societies   Rules,1969,   a   candidate   for   appointment   by   directrecruitment must have completed eighteen years and must not have completed forty years of age on the 1st  day of January of the calendar year in which theThis is a digitally signed Gazette. applications for appointment are invited. Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Scheduled caste /Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of candidate belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes;

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Kadirur Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1262 in Kannur District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub­rule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala   Co­operative   Societies   Rules,1969,   for   the   purpose   of   regularising   the appointment of Smt.Sunitha K. M whose date of birth is 10 th November, 1978 as Sales   Man   in   the   said   Bank   with   effect   from   3rd  January,   2023   taking   into consideration of her service in the said Bank;

AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Co­operative Societies has forwarded the proposal to the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub­ rule (1) of rule 183 of the said rules, for the limited purpose of regularising the appointment of Smt. Sunitha K. M., as Sales Man in the said Bank with effect from 3rd January, 2023;

AND   WHEREAS,   the   Government   have   considered   that   it   is   necessary   to exempt the Kadirur Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1262 in Kannur District from   the   provisions   of   sub­rule   (1)   of   rule   183   of   the   Kerala   Co­operative Societies   Rules,   1969,   so   as   to   enable   the   said   Bank   to   regularise   the appointment of Smt. Sunitha K. M., as Sales Man in the said Bank with effect from 3rd  January, 2023 ;

exempt the Kadirur Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1262 in Kannur District from the provisions of sub­rule (1) of rule 183 of the said Rules, so as to enable the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Sunitha K. M., as Sales Man in the said bank with effect from 3rd January, 2023 taking into consideration of her service in the said Bank.

Explanatory Note

As per sub­rule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment must have completed eighteen years and must not have completed forty years of age on the 1st day of January   of   the   calendar   year   in   which   the   applications   for   appointment   are invited.  The   Board   of   Directors   of   the   Kadirur  Service  Co­operative   Bank   Ltd No:F 1262 in Kannur District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub­rule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Co­ operative Societies Rules, 1969, so as to enable the said Bank to regularise the appointment   of   Smt.   Sunitha   K.   M.,   as   Sales   Man   in   the   said   Bank.   TheGovernment have considered the matter in detail and have decided to exempt the said Bank from the above provisions of the sub­rule (1) of rule 183 of theThis is a digitally signed Gazette. Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Sunitha K. M., as Sales Man in the said Bank with effect from 3rd  January, 2023 taking into consideration of her service in the said Bank.
