In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to the Declaration issued under subsection (1) of Section 19 as per G.O(P)No.40/2025/RD dated 1 st February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.361 dated 1st February 2025, namely :- This is a digitally signed Gazette. G.O(P)No.40/2025/RD dated 1st February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.361 dated 1st February 2025 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 03.9058 Hectares of land in Karakulam, Aruvikkara and Nedumangad villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 2 from Keltron Junction to Valikkode Junction.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per G.O(P)No.40/2025/RD dated 1st February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.361 dated 1st February 2025 expires on 31-01-2026, and therefore requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.

NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of 19(1) Declaration ie, 31-01-2026 by invoking the provisions contained in Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 03.9058 Hectares of land in Karakulam, Aruvikkara and Nedumangad villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 2 from Keltron Junction to Valikkode Junction.

G.O.(P)No.40/2025/RD dated 1st February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.361 dated 1st February 2025 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 03.9058 Hectares of land in Karakulam, Aruvikkara and Nedumangad villages of Thiruvananthapuram district for the 4 laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad - Pazhakutty road Reach 2 from Keltron Junction to Valikkode Junction.
