In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rules (1), (1A) and (1B) of rule 4 of the Schedule Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995, the Government of Kerala hereby notify the panel of Senior Advocates recommended by the District Magistrate, Palakkad in Schedule I and the panel of Public Prosecutors/Exclusive Special Public Prosecutors prepared in consultation with the Director General of Prosecution in Schedule II, for conducting cases in the
2Special Court in Palakkad District constituted under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Central Act 33 of 1989), namely:-

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) As per sub-rules (1), (1A) and (1B) of rule 4 of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995, Government of Kerala have decided to notify the panel of Senior Advocates and panel of Public Prosecutors/Exclusive Special Public Prosecutors for conducting cases in the Special Court in Palakkad District constituted under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Central Act 33 of 1989)
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
