2 ExtensionProceedings No.G1-57136/09 dated 02nd July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2266 dated 10th July 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the Straightening of Dangerous Curves in Ettumanoor-Ernakulam road in Kottayam district.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Kottayam has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No.G1-57136/09 dated 02nd July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2266 dated 10th July 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.172/2024/RD dated 31st July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2582 dated 07th August 2024, G.O.(P)No.108/2025/RD dated 18th March 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1056 dated 19th March 2025 and G.O.(P) No.257/2025/RD dated 11th July 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2634 dated 17th July 2025 expired on 09/01/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie, 09/01/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the Straightening of Dangerous Curves in Ettumanoor-Ernakulam road in Kottayam district.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
