NOTIFICATION
G.O. (P) No.91 /2026/HOME . Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 20 th August , 2026 04thChingam, 1202 29th Sravana, 1948 S. R. O. No. 715/2026
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (Central Act 29 of 2005) and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O. (Ms.) No.12/2026/Home dated 22nd January, 2026 and published as
2 Government of Kerala hereby designate Shri Saji Kumar J Special Secretary to Government,Home Department as the Controlling Authority for the purposes of the above said Act.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per G.O.(Ms.) No.12/2026/Home dated 22nd January, 2026 and published as S.R.O.No.76/2026 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 277 dated 22nd January, 2026, Government had designated Smt. Beena P.S., Additional Secretary to Government, Home Department as the Controlling Authority under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (Central Act 29 of 2005) for the purposes of the said Act. Now, Smt. Beena P.S., Additional Secretary to Government, Home Department was transferred from the said post. The Government have therefore, decided to designate Shri Saji Kumar J Special Secretary to Government, Home Department as the Controlling Authority for the purpose of the above said Act.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
