In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to sub-section (7) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section (1) of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per G.O.(P) No.92/2025/RD dated 06th March 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1371 dated 08th April 2025, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. G.O.(P) No.92/2025/RD dated 06th March 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1371 dated 08th April 2025 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5096 Hectares of land in Manjalloor village of Ernakulam district for the development of Nellappara – Madakkathanam Road (Angamvetty- Madakkathanam) Reach 3.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Ernakulam has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O.(P) No.92/2025/RD dated 06th March 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1371 dated 08th April 2025 expired on 07-04-2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of Twelve months from 08-04-2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5096 Hectares of land in Manjalloor village of Ernakulam district for the development of Nellappara - Madakkathanam Road (Angamvetty- Madakkathanam) Reach 3.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) G.O.(P) No.92/2025/RD dated 06th March 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1371 dated 08th April 2025 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5096 Hectares of land in Manjalloor village of Ernakulam district for the development of Nellappara – Madakkathanam Road (Angamvetty- Madakkathanam) Reach 3. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per G.O.(P) No.92/2025/RD dated 06th March 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1371 dated 08th April 2025 expired on 07-04-2026 and therefore extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
