WHEREAS, the Government have appointed Smt. Nisha P., Advocate, Vengilote Illam, Temple Road, Chalad, Kannur - 14, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 445/2011 of Thaliparamba Police Station, as per notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No. 731/2026/Home dated 26th February, 2026 and published as S.R.O. No. 270/2026 in the Kerala Gazette
2Extraordinary No. 874 dated 28th February, 2026;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have decided to terminate the service of Smt. Nisha P., Advocate, and to appoint Shri Navin M. Easow, Advocate, Roll No.K/273/1996 as Special Public Prosecutor in the said case;
NOW THEREFORE, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978, and in supersession of the notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No. 731/2026/Home dated 26th February, 2026 and published as S.R.O. No. 270/2026 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 874 dated 28th February, 2026, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri Navin M. Easow, Advocate, Roll No.K/273/1996, Nirayannoor House, Kumplapoika P.O., Pathanamthitta District as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 445/2011 of Thaliparamba Police Station, Kannur District on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Government considered the direction of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala in WP(Crl) No.1163/2025 and decided to terminate the service of Smt. Nisha P., Advocate, as Special Public Prosecutor in Crime No. 445/2011 of Thaliparamba Police Station, Kannur District and to appoint Shri Navin M. Easow, Advocate, Roll No.K/273/1996, Nirayannoor House, Kumplapoika P.O.,
3Pathanamthitta District who is having the requisite qualification, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in the said case on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
