In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Keralam hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to the Notification issued as per sub-section (1) of section 19 issued as per Proceedings No.104791/2016 dated 03rd March, 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.819 dated 06th March, 2023 namely:-

As per Proceedings No.104791/2016 dated 03rd March, 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.819 dated 06th March, 2023, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of sub- section (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.4850 Hectares of land in Balaramapuram & Athiyanoor Villages for the widening of road from Balaramapuram to Vazhimukku (left side) as part of development of Karamana -Kaliyikavila road has been issued.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration and the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings No.104791/2016 dated 03rd March, 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.819 dated 06th March, 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.60/2024/RD dated 19th February 2024 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.614 dated 19th February 2024, G.O.(P)No.210/2024/RD dated 11th September 2024 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.3053 dated 28th September 2024, G.O.(P) No.73/2025/RD dated 22nd February 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.935 dated 11th March 2025, G.O.(P) No.356/2025/RD dated 10th September 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.3213 dated 10th September 2025 and G.O.(P) No.71/2026/RD dated 18th February 2026 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.686 dated 19th February 2026 expired on 05/09/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.

NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 19(1) Declaration ie. 05/09/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.4850 Hectares of land in Balaramapuram & Athiyanoor Villages for the widening of road from Balaramapuram to Vazhimukku (left side) as part of development of Karamana - Kaliyikavila road.

As per Proceedings No.104791/2016 dated 03rd March, 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.819 dated 06th March, 2023, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of sub- section (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.4850 Hectares of land in Balaramapuram & Athiyanoor Villages for the widening of road from Balaramapuram to Vazhimukku (left side) as part of development of Karamana -Kaliyikavila road has been issued. dated 11th March 2025, G.O.(P) No.356/2025/RD dated 10th September 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.3213 dated 10th September 2025 and G.O.(P) No.71/2026/RD dated 18th February 2026 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.686 dated 19th February 2026 expired on 05/09/2026 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the Award. The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
