In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to sub-section 7 of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Keralam hereby extend the time limit in publishing the declaration as per sub-section (1) of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of section 11 as per Proceedings No. G4-3804/2019 dated 12th May 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1708 dated 22nd May 2023, namely:- This is a digitally signed Gazette. Proceedings No.G4-3804/2019 dated 12th May 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1708 dated 22nd May 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 20.22 Ares of land in Panavally village of Cherthala Taluk in Alappuzha district for the construction of Anchuthuruth bridge.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Alappuzha has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No. G4-3804/2019 dated 12th May 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1708 dated 22nd May 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.315/2024/RD dated 12th December 2024 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.4029 dated 20th December 2024 and G.O.(P) No.194/2025/RD dated 05th May 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1724 dated 08 th May 2025 expired on 21/05/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration for a further period of 12 months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 21/05/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 20.22 Ares of land in Panavally village of Cherthala taluk in Alappuzha district for the construction of Anchuthuruth bridge.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.) Proceedings No.G4-3804/2019 dated 12th May 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1708 dated 22nd May 2023, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 20.22 Ares of land in Panavally village of Cherthala taluk in Alappuzha district for the construction of Anchuthuruth bridge. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No.G4-3804/2019 dated 12th May 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1708 dated 22nd May 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.315/2024/RD dated 12th December 2024 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.4029 dated 20th December 2024 and G.O.(P) No.194/2025/RD dated 05th May 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1724 dated 08 th May 2025 expired on 21/05/2026 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
