NOTIFICATION

No. 429/Ladakh/2021 (1): - Ministry of Law & Justice (Legislative Department), Govt. of India vide Gazette Notification dated 9th August, 2019 enacted the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 and has formed a new Union Territory of Ladakh allocating and one seat i.e. 04-Ladakh PC in the House of the People without Legislature.

Accordingly, in pursuance of the provision of sub section (1) of Section 13C of the Representation of People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), and in supersession of its notification No. 429/J&K/2015(1) dated 25th March, 2015, the Election Commission of India hereby appoints the following officers of Union Territory of Ladakh, as specified in column 2 of the table below as the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer to assist the Electoral Registration Officer of the Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency in the Union Territory of Ladakh in the performance of functions of such Electoral Registration Officers:- LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2
