NOTIFICATION

No. 429/Ladakh/2021:- Ministry of Law & Justice (Legislative Department), Govt. of India vide Gazette Notification dated 9th August, 2019 enacted the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019 and has formed a new Union Territory of Ladakh allocating and one seat i.e. 04-Ladakh PC in the House of the People without Legislature.

Accordingly, in pursuance of the provision of sub section (1) of Section 13B of the Representation of People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), and in supersession of its Notification No. LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

429/J&K/2015 dated 25th March 2015, the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, hereby designates the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh of Union Territory of Ladakh as the Electoral Registration Officer of the 04-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
