Subject: Addendum to Order No: 13-LA (LD) of 2021 dated 04.09.2021 regarding enhancement in the

prescribed age for entry into service.

ORDER NO: 05-LA (LD) of 2022 Dated: 03-03-2022 It is hereby ordered that the upper age limit for entry into services for posts under the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh, meant for direct recruitment, other than those pertaining to Gazetted Officers, shall with effect from 13.09.2021 (i.e., the date of publication of the above mentioned principal order in the Official Gazette) in respect of the below mentioned categories is prescribed as under- LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

ategory	Prescribed Upper Age Limit
Ex-Servicemen (ESM)	3 years after deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates. Note: Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed upper age limit as provided above will be admissible for a period of (02) two years w.e.f. 13.09.2021.
Persons already in government service	40 years Note: Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed upper age limit as provided above will be admissible for a period of (02) two years w.e.f. 13.09.2021.

The other terms and conditions of the principal order shall remain the same.
