NOTIFICATION

Ladakh, the 27th May 2022.

S.O. 73 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act, 1970 (XIX of 1970), read with S.O. 3775 (E) dated 23.10.2020 and in supersession of all previous orders issued under this subsection, the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh hereby constitutes a Ladakh Smart Cities Development Authority and further directs that the said Authority shall consist of following members, namely.―

1	The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh	Chairman
2	Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil	Vice-Chairman
3	Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh	Vice-Chairman
4	Member of Parliament, Ladakh	Member
5	Advisor to Lieutenant Governor	Member
6	Administrative Secretary, Finance Department	Member
7	Administrative Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department	CEO
8	Administrative Secretary, PW(R&B) Department	Member
9	Administrative Secretary, Transport Department	Member
10	Administrative Secretary, Rural Development Department	Member
11	President, Municipal Committee, Leh	Member
12	President, Municipal Committee, Kargil	Member
13	Director, Housing and Urban Development Department	Member

LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

The Authority shall exercise its powers and functions in accordance with the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Development Act, 1970 (XIX of 1970), read with S.O. 3775 (E) dated 23.10.2020, within the local area as notified by the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh under section 3 of the Act.
