Notification

Ladakh, the 04th of March 2024

S.O. 14 - In exercise of the powers conferred by S.O 282(E) dated 21.01.2020 and as approved by the Empowered Committee (EC) in its 28th meeting held on 23rd October, 2023, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh hereby makes the following amendments in the Ladakh Police (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2021 notified vide S.O. 37 dated 13.09.2021:

In Schedule-II (A) Pay Level-2 (19900-63200) Constable (Executive, Armed / IRP, HG/

CD/SDRF):

i. For the entries appearing in A (i) under the head "Method of recruitment," instead of "72%candidates fulfilling essential educational, physical and medical qualification for the post", the following shall be substituted: "62% candidates fulfilling essential educational, physical and medical qualification for the post." ii. For the entries appearing in A (iii) under the head "Method of recruitment" the following shall be inserted: LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2 "10% for Ex-Agniveers who have completed their term of engagement. The reservation so earmarked shall not be carried forward to the subsequent year and vacancies shall be filled up by direct recruitment under category A (i) above, in case eligible candidates are not available."

Accordingly, the existing entries numbered as iii & iii in Schedule-II (A) Pay Level-2 (19900-63200) Constable (Executive, Armed / IRP, HG/CD/SDRF) in the column "Method of recruitment" shall be renumbered as iv & v.
