Notification Ladakh, the 03rd of July, 2024.

S.O 52 .- In exercise of the powers conferred under the second proviso of clause (3) of section 265 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, read with S.O. 2506 (E) dated: 28.06.2024 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh hereby notifies the following designated places for the purposes of said proviso:

1. Office of the Deputy Commissioner. 2. Office of the District Legal Service Authority. LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

3. Jails. 4. Hospitals administered by Central Government/UT Administration/ Local Bodies. 5. Court of another State or Union Territory of India. 6. Offices of the Forensic Science laboratory. 7. Observation Home, Special Home, Children's Home, Shelter Home or any institution referred to as a child facility (collectively referred to as child facilities) and where the required persons is a juvenile or a child or a person who is an inmate of such child facility.

8. Women's Rescue Homes, Protection Homes, Shelter Homes, Nari Niketans or any institution referred to as a women's facility.

9. Office of the District Superintendent of Police.

This notification shall be deemed to come into force w.e.f. 01.07.2024.
