NOTIFICATION Ladakh, the 06th day of August, 2024 S.O. 68_ In exercise of the powers conferred under sub section (1) of Section 4 and read with Section 5 (3) of The Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Act, 2000 and on the recommendations of the committee constituted vide order No. 357-LA (GAD) of 2023 dated: 26.10.2023 ,the following peri-urban areas of Kargil district are included in the Kargil Municipal area with immediate effect:

1	Tumail Colony (Upto Rangyul Resort on the Eastern side)	Satellite Colony, Megawatt area, Police Line area, Ando Colony, Andu Village, Petrol Pump area, Zamstyang Village, Tumail Colony, TV Station.
2	Beyond Ringmospang (on the Southern side)	Chhutuk Braqbu of Village Minji (upto Hotel Chhutuk Heights)
3	Kharul (upto Harka Bahadur Bridge on the Northern side)	Byathang (Shilikchey) and Kharul (on the left side of Drass River)
