NOTIFICATION Ladakh, the 04th day of October, 2024 S.O. 98: In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Land Revenue Act, Samvat 1996 (1939 A.D) read with S.O.3912 (E), dated 30.10.2019 issued by Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Jammu and Kashmir Affairs) and in supersession of all previous orders and notifications, the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh hereby notifies the following: - "The two main habitations of the existing revenue village Tyakshi (figuring at Sr. No. 5 of Patwar Halqa & Niabat Turtuk, Tehsil Diskit, Sub-Division Nubra as per SRO 451), namely, Tyakshi Pachathang & Tyakshi Grong are upgraded as independent revenue villages and shall be known/ recorded in the revenue record as revenue village 'Tyakshi – A' and revenue village 'Tyakshi – B', respectively." LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

Consequent upon the above, the number of revenue villages Patwar Halqa Turtuk of Niabat Turtuk would become six, numbering Tyakshi – A at 5 and Tyakshi-B at 6, making the total number of revenue villages in District Leh 120 instead of 119.
