DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE Notification Ladakh, the 18 of June, 2025
S.O.71 _ In exercise of the powers conferred by S.O. 282(E) dated 21.01.2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; the Lieutenant Governor of Union territory of Ladakh, hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Union Territory of Ladakh Archives, Archaeology and Museums (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the 'said Rules') notified vide S.O. 104 dated: 30.08.2022, namely: —
1. Short title and commencement: — (1) These rules may be called the Union Territory of Ladakh Archives, Archaeology and Museums (Subordinate) Service Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) These rules come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 22. Amendment to Schedule - I(A): — The "Schedule - I(A)" to the said Rules shall be amended to include the post of Section Officer, with details, as below: -

*Note: the total number of posts mentioned at the end of the table under schedule I(A) shall now be 07(seven).
3. Amendment to Schedule – II: — The "Schedule - II(A)" to the said Rules shall be amended to include the post of Section Officer and a new entry shall be inserted as 1st row, before the post of Head Assistant as follows.
