के न्द्र-शासित प्रदेश लद्दाख प्रशासन ADMINISTRATION OF UNION TERRITORY OF LADAKH

NOTIFICATION Leh, the 26th September, 2025.

No. Secy/L&J/UTL/2025/1041.— Whereas, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union territory of Ladakh is satisfied that it is necessary to do so;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3, read with clause (e) of section 2 of the National Security Act, 1980, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union territory of Ladakh is pleased to direct that during the period 26/09/2025 to 25/12/2025, the District Magistrate, Leh and Kargil may also exercise the powers of detaining authority under sub-section (2) of section 3 of the aforesaid Act within their territorial jurisdiction.

Governor, UT of Ladakh for information of the Hon'ble Lt. Governor. 6. OSD to Chief Secretary, UT of Ladakh for information of the worthy Chief Secretary. 7. Concerned file.
