Notification
Ladakh, the 16th of November, 2025.
S.O. 133.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 303 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act 46 of 2023) read with S.O. 2506 (E) dated: 28.06.2024 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh, having regard to the matters specified in sub-section (2) of Section 303 of the said Sanhita, hereby orders that whenever required, the following persons shall not be removed from the prison in which they may confined or detained:
1. Persons accused of offences involving terrorist activities;
2. Persons who are members of organized gangs committing heinous crimes;
3. Any person whose removal from prison is likely to disturb public order and whose removal is not in public interest.
