Notification
Ladakh, the 27th of November, 2025
In reference to the MoEF&CC Notification No. G.S.R. 84 (E) dt: 29/01/2025 and G.S.R. 85(E) dt: 30/01/2025, a State Level Monitoring Committee is hereby constituted, consisting of the following members:
| 1. | Principal Secretary (Forest, Ecology and Environment), UT Administration, Ladakh. | Chairman |
| 2. | Deputy Conservator of Forests, (Headquarters), Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, UT Ladakh. | Member Secretary |
| 3. Member Secretary, Ladakh Pollution Control Committee, Leh, Ladakh. | Member | |
| 4. | R egional Director, CPCB, Regional Office (Jammu) | Member |
2. The above State Level Monitoring Committee shall oversee and monitor the implementation of the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide Notification No. G.S.R.84(E) dated 29.01.2025 and Notification No. G.S.R.85(E) dated:
30.01.2025.
3. The monitoring committee shall also dispose of the matters presented before it.
4. The monitoring Committee shall have at least one meeting in every calendar month.
