Notification

Ladakh, the 16th of November, 2025.

S.O. 131.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Bharaiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (ACT 46 of 2023), read with S.O. 2506 (E) dated: 28.06.2024 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh, hereby, declares the audio/video electronic means as under: - 1. The audio/video proceedings recorded in the authorized mobile phones or tablets of designated Police Officers;

3. The audio/video proceedings recorded in the authorized digital equipment, including digital camera, digital video cameras, body-worn cameras, tablets or such other electronic equipment of the designated Police Officers;

4. Any such other electronic device(s), so authorized by the Director General of Police/ Home Department, Union territory of Ladakh.
