Subject: Constitution of State Level Implementation Committee (SLIC)
under the National Mission on Monuments & Antiquities
(NMMA).

In pursuance of the communication received from the Director, National Mission on Monuments and Antiquities (NMMA), Archaeological Survey of India, and with a view to implement the objectives of NMMA for preparation of a comprehensive National Database of Monuments and Antiquities, the Union Territory of Ladakh is pleased to hereby constitute the State Level Implementation Committee (SLIC) with the following composition:

| 2 | Director, Archives, Archaeology & Museums, Ladakh | Member |
| 3 | Director, NMMA, Archaeological Survey of India | Member |
| 4 | Regional Director, Archaeological Survey of India | Member |
| 5 | Superintending Archaeologist, ASI, Leh | Member |
| 6 | Prof. Tashi Dawa, Tsangspa, Leh, | Subject Expert |
| 7 | Sh. Mohd. Sadiq, Hardassi, Kargil | Subject Expert |
| 8 | Two Experts to be nominated by Government of India | - |
The Chairperson of the Committee may invite any other expert(s) as Special Invitee(s), if required. The Deputy Secretary (Culture), Leh and Kargil shall be Special Invitees.
The Committee shall work towards documentation, preservation, and inclusion of Monuments and Antiquities of the UT of Ladakh into the National Database.
