Home Department Notification

Ladakh, the 17th of December, 2025.

S.O. 148 .— In partial modification of Home Department Notification S.O. 112 dated 25.09.2025 and S.O. 117 dated 05.10.2025, and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Union Territory of Ladakh Public Safety Act, 1978 (Act No. VI of 1978), Section 9 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (Act No. 46 of 1988), Section 9 of the Prevention of the Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Act No. 7 of 1980), section 8 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (Act No. 52 of 1974) and Section 9 of the National Security Act, 1980 (Act No. 65 of 1980), the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh hereby reconstitutes the Advisory Boards for the purposes of the said Acts to the extent of substitution of Members only. LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2 The Chairman of the Advisory Boards shall remain unchanged, as notified earlier.

The following are hereby appointed in place of those notified in the earlier notification: -

1.	Ms. Spalzes Angmo, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Leh	Member
2.	Mr. Sheikh Gowher Hussain, Principal District and Sessions, Judge, Kargil.	Member

The Members of the Advisory Boards shall hold office for a period of three (03) years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, unless reconstituted or modified earlier by the Administration.

All other terms and conditions of the earlier notifications shall remain the same.
