Notification Ladakh, the 20th of February, 2026. S.O. 157- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (u) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act 46 of 2023) the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh hereby declares the office of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Ladakh to be the Police Station having jurisdiction throughout the Union territory of Ladakh for the purpose of investigation of offences under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) and any other laws, pertaining to investigation of offences relating to and emerging from Narcotic and Psychotropic Drug related activities. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, posted in the office of Anti- Narcotics Task Force shall be the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Police Station.
