Ladakh, the 05th of May, 2026

S.O. 185 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 and sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (Act No. 35 of 2002) read with rule 20 of the Haj Committee Rules, 2002, and in suppression of earlier notifications(s) issued on the subject, the Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Ladakh, hereby appoints the following as members of the Ladakh Union Territory Haj Committee for a period of 03 years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette of Union Territory of Ladakh; namely:-

1	Sh. Ghulam Abbas Abidi, S/o Haji Mohd Hussian R/o Thiksay, Leh	Chairman
2	Smt. Ashay Mallo, D/o Abdul Qadir R/o Yourtung, Leh	Member
3	Sh. Mohammad Hussain, S/o Mohd Oumar R/o Housing Colony, Leh	Member
4	Sh. Sheikh Liaquat Ali S/o Akbar Ali R/o G M Pore, Kargil	Member
5	Sh. Haji Ghulam Mohammad S/o Gulam Raza R/o Tangole, Kargil	Member
6	Sh. Bilal Ahmad S/o Ghulam Nabi R/o Chowkiyal, Drass	Member
7	Smt. Zahara Banoo D/o Haji Ghulam Mohd R/o Barsoo, Kargil	Member

LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

A Deputy Secretary level officer to be nominated by the Administration to act as Executive Officer Haj Committee shall also be an Ex-officio Member of the Committee and his term shall be till the officer is holding charge as Executive Officer, Ladakh Union territory Haj Committee.
