Notification Ladakh, the 12th of May, 2026. S.O. 189.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, read with S.O. 2506 (E) dated: 28.06.2024 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh hereby appoints the following Deputy Commissioners of the districts specified in column (2) of the said Table as Executive Magistrates for the respective districts, and also confers upon them all the powers and functions of a District Magistrate under the said Sanhita.

3.	Changthang	Deputy Commissioner, Changthang as District Magistrate
4.	Zanskar	Deputy Commissioner, Zanskar as District Magistrate
5.	Drass	Deputy Commissioner, Drass as District Magistrate

LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

The District Magistrates shall exercise jurisdiction within the territorial limits of the respective districts as notified vide Revenue Department Notification No. S.O. 180 dated 27.04.2026.
