S.O. No. 188 In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the constitution, read with S.O. 282 (E) dated: 21.01.2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India; the Lieutenant Governor (Administrator), Union territory of Ladakh, hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Union Territory of Ladakh Industries & Commerce Department (Geology & Mining) (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2022, as follows: —
LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 21. Short title and commencement: — (1) These rules may be called the Union territory of Ladakh, Industries & Commerce Department (Geology & Mining) (Subordinate) Service Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment to Schedule – II: — The "Schedule – II(B)" to the said Rules shall be substituted by the following Schedule, as follows, namely: —
SCHEDULE – II(B)
| L-6E (35900- 113500) | Surveyor | - | 100% by promotion from Mineral Supervisor having 02 years Draughtsman Civil course awarded by NCVT/SCVT and minimum (05) five years of substantive service as Mineral Supervisor. Provided that, in case of non-availability of person having 02 years Draughtsman Civil course awarded by NCVT/SCVT, to fill up the post by promotion, the post shall be filled up by direct recruitment, in a year of recruitment. |
| L-4 (25500- 81100) | Mineral Supervisor | - | 100% b y promotion f r o m Mineral Guard/ Mining Helper / Helper having not less than (05) five years of substantive service. |
| SL-1 (14800- 47100) | Mining Helper / Helper | Mineral Guard / Matriculate | 100% by direct recruitment. Note: 20% of the direct recruitment vacancies shall be reserved for Ex-Agniveers who have completed their engagement under the Agnipath Scheme. The reservation shall be operated on a horizontal basis and shall not be carried forward to subsequent years in case of non-availability of eligible candidates. |
