Subject: Constitution of Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council under the
MSME Act, 2006.
Order No. 07- I&C of 2026
Dated: 18.05.2026
Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council for the Union Territory of Ladakh under Sections 20 and 21 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 read with Rule 3 of the Ladakh Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council Rules, 2024.
The Council shall consist of the following members:

| 2 | Convenor, UT Level Bankers 'Committee, UT Ladakh | Member |
| 3 | Chairman/Representative of a recognized Chamber of Industries/Association of Micro and Small Enterprises in UT Ladakh | Member |
| 4 | Joint Director Industries/General Manager DIC Leh (in case the post of JD Industries is vacant) | Member/Secretary |
| 5 | One established entrepreneur with expertise in Industry, Finance, Law, Trade, or Commerce. (To be nominated by the chairperson) | Member |
2. Jurisdiction
The Council shall exercise jurisdiction over the entire Union Territory of Ladakh.
3. Secretariat Assistance
The Directorate of Industries & Commerce, UT Ladakh shall provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Council.

4. Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions of the members of the Council shall be governed by the provisions of the Ladakh Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council Rules, 2024 and other instructions issued by the Government from time to time.
