N O T I F I C A T I O N

Ladakh, the 22nd of July, 2026 S.O. 226 —In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (4) read with sub-section (5) of Section 6 of the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act, Samvat 1996, as applicable to the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh hereby confers upon every Naib Tehsildar holding independent charge of a Tehsil, all the powers and functions of an Assistant Collector of the First Class under the said Act and rules made thereunder, to be exercised within the local limits of their respective jurisdiction. This notification shall come into force on and from the date of its publication in the official Gazette By order and in the name of the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2
