NOTIFICATION
Ladakh, the 25th day of August, 2026
S.O. 254.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Jammu and Kashmir Excise Act, Samvat 1958 (1901 A.D.) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), as adapted to the Union territory of Ladakh vide the Union Territory of Ladakh Reorganisation (Adaptation of State Laws) Order, 2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India vide S.O. 3775(E) dated 23rd October, 2020, and in supersession of S.O. 18 dated LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2 the functions of the Commissioner under the said Act in the Union territory of Ladakh, with effect from 1st June, 2026, and until further orders.
