NOTIFICATION
F.No. 1/13/2016-Estt (Pol) (MF) :- In exercise of the powers conferred by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs vide Notification No. 2-7-63-LMA dated 4-2-1963, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to various category of posts in the Police Marine Force of Lakshadweep Police Department, Administration's Notification No. 1/4/SB/93-POL Vol. III dated 16-02-2005.
1. Short Title and Commencement :-
(i) These Rules may be called Lakshadweep Police Marine Force (Group 'C') Recruitment Rule 2005.
(ii) This shall come into force on the date of the publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Lakshadweep Police Marine (Group C and D) Rule 2005 the following shall be substituted against the existing entry in Col. No. 13 in Schedule VI and VII.
Column No. 13.
" If a DPC exists what is its composition-
1. Superintendent of Police, Union Territory of Lakshadweep - Chairman 2. Directorate (Services), Union Territory of Lakshadweep - Member 3. Director (Port, Shipping & Aviation), Union Territory of Lakshadweep - Member - Member. 4. Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarter
