NOTIFICATION
F.No. 2/4/2007-Services(1)/1825 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E) dated 20th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Smt. A.M. Kadeeshabi, Deputy Collector, Agatti as Executive Magistrate with jurisdiction in the Island of Agatti and islets around the Agatti Island. She will exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an Executive Magistrate under the said code.
The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower her to exercise the powers specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code. This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as Deputy Collector, Agatti and remains till such period the officer holds the charge of Deputy Collector, Agatti.
This is issued with the approval of Hon'ble Administrator vide Diary No. 1429, dated 29-07-2020.

The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower him to exercise the powers specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code. This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as Sub Divisional Officer, Kiltan and remains till such period the officer holds the charge of Sub Divisional Officer, Kiltan.

F.No. A/4/2017-Services(1)/1842 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E) dated 20th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Shri. M.K. Muthukoya, Assistant Engineer, LPWD, Kalpeni as Executive Magistrate with jurisdiction in the Island of Kalpeni and the islets around Kalpeni Island. He will exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an Executive Magistrate under the said code.
The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower him to exercise the powers specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code. This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as Sub Divisional Officer, Kalpeni and remains till such period the officer holds the charge of Sub Divisional Officer, Kalpeni.
