ORDER
F.No. 1/22/2012-Pol/1718 :- WHEREAS, a number of fishing boats for commercial and personal purpose have been possessed by public and is being used for multiple sea activities in this Union Territory.
AND WHEREAS, credible intelligence inputs alarms that certain criminal Antisocial Elements / Terrorist likely to involve terrorist activities in the country through sea. This may affects the security in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep also.
AND, WHEREAS, it is necessary to take speedy measures to curb any terrorist activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred upon the District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep by section 144 CRPC 1973, I Vijendra Singh Rawat, IAS, District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owner of boat in the entire area of Union Territory of Lakshadweep w.e.f. the date of publication of this order. The Owner of the boat shall not spare or give their boats on lease / rent to anyone without proper certificates from competent authority.
This order shall come in to force with effect from 11-08-2020 to 16-08-2020 shall remain in force for 5 days unless withdrawn earlier.
All the boat owners who contravene this order shall be liable punishment in accordance with the provisions of section 188 IPC.
As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned. The order is hereby passed ex-parties. It shall be published for the information the public through the press and by affixing copies on the notice boards of all offices, all Police Stations in islands, under Union Territory Administration.

F.No. 1/22/2012-Pol/1719 :- WHEREAS, Operation of drone and Gas Balloons by the member of public is prohibited since it can be very hazardous to aviation safety and also poses a security threat of terrorist attack from air.
AND WHEREAS, Safety and Security of Government / Public property and human beings is matter of serious concern.
AND, WHEREAS, it is necessary to take speedy measure in this behalf to prevent above mentioned danger and threat.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred upon the District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep by section 144 CRPC 1973, I Vijendra Singh Rawat, IAS, District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owner of such establishment in this jurisdiction of entire Lakshadweep w.e.f. the date of publication of this order, Not to operate any drone and Gas Balloons due to above mentioned threat and danger.
This order shall come in to force with effect from 11-08-2020 to 16-08-2020 shall remain in force for 5 days unless withdrawn earlier.
All the operators of drone and Gas Balloons which contravene this order shall be liable for punishment in accordance with the provisions of section 188 IPC.

F.No. 1/22/2012-Pol/1720 :- WHEREAS, a large number of commercial places / shops have come up recently in all island for selling SIM cards as an agent of mobile network service providers, and a large number of people visit them to procure and use facilities available in such places.
AND WHEREAS, it has come to observation that certain criminal Antisocial Elements / Terrorist are procuring SIM through their own source for the use of terrorist activities in the country. This way affects the security of the Union Territory also.
AND, WHEREAS, it is necessary to take speedy measure to curb any terrorist action.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred upon the District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep by section 144 CRPC 1973, I Vijendra Singh Rawat, IAS, District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owner of such shops /commercial places in the entire area of Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
1. Prohibiting the sale of SIM cards to unknown person and whose identity has not been established by the owner of the shop.
2. Maintaining a register of the identity of the visitor/customer.
3. Make on entry of the handwriting of the visitors / customer mentioning name, address, telephone number and identity proof. The customer / visitor shall also sign the register kept for this purpose.
4. The identity of the customer / visitor shall be established through identity card, voter ID ration card, driving license, passport and photo credit card [ any one of them].
5. The register kept for this purpose as above matter and should be preserved properly for at last six months.
6. If any suspicious nature on the customer owner of the shop will immediately inform the Police Station.
This order shall come in to force with effect from 11-08-2020 to 16-08-2020 shall remain in force for 5 days unless withdrawn earlier.
Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under section 188 IPC.

AND WHEREAS, credible intelligence inputs alarms that certain criminal Antisocial Elements / Terrorist likely to posses such building for terrorist activities. This may affects the security of the Union Territory also.
AND, WHEREAS, it is mandate to take speedy measures to curb any terrorist activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred upon the District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep by section 144 CRPC 1973, I Vijendra Singh Rawat, IAS, District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owner of the building /House in the entire area of Union Territory of Lakshadweep w.e.f the date of publication of this order. The Owner / Custodian of the building shall not provide facility to unknown person without police information.
This order shall come in to force with effect from 11-08-2020 to 16-08-2020 shall remain in force for 5 days unless withdrawn earlier.
All the owner / Custodian of the building who contravene this order shall be liable for the punishment in accordance with the provisions of section 188 IPC.
