F.No.2/8/2011-SC (1)/23/216 :- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 24(4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the Hon'ble Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration is pleased to extended the engagement of Shri. Noushad T.O., Advocate, as Public Prosecutor, for Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration for conducting cases before the "Hon'ble Sessions Court, Kavaratti" on behalf of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration. The extension of engagement will be subject to the following conditions;
1. Shri. Noushad T.O., shall be stationed at Kavaratti and attend the Court work regularly. 2. Sufficient cases will be allotted to Shri. Noushad T.O. and his performance shall be monitored regularly by ADM/Collector.
The extension of Public Prosecutor is for a period of one year w.e.f. 04-04-2020. The fees applicable to Standing Government Counsel in the District Court as fixed by the Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice vide OM No. 26(1)/2014/judl., dated 01-10-2015 will be admissible to the Public Prosecutor in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
