NOTIFICATION
F.No. 2/29/91-Genl (1)/2655 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub section (1) of Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E) dated 20th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Shri. S. Asker Ali, IAS, District Collector as the Executive Magistrate for the District of Lakshadweep, Union Territory of Lakshadweep. He may exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an Executive Magistrate under the said code.
The Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as Collector with reference to the office order F.No. 12/47/2018-Services (1) 2034 dated 02-09-2020.

F.No. 2/29/91-Genl (2)/2656 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub section (1) of Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E) dated 20th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Shri. S. Asker Ali, IAS, District Collector as the District Magistrate for the District of Lakshadweep, Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer is empowered as Executive Magistrate and will remain in force until the officer ceases to be the Executive Magistrate.
