F.No. 1/226/2012-Pol/254 :- In pursuance of the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, vide references cited above, for setting up/strengthening of Women Help Desk in Police Stations under Nirbhaya Fund to rescue, prevent, protection and support investigation of Human Trafficking cases of women of the respective jurisdiction and coordinate activities with other police stations and also perform such duties and responsibilities as directed by the District Anti Human Trafficking Unit. The Secretary (Home), Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to constitute Women Help Desk in Police Stations in Lakshadweep with following discipline.
