Mohammed Khaleel, (Date of Birth 15-02-1962) Block Development Officer, Amini to retire from Government service on Superannuation on the afternoon of 28-02-2022 under Rule 74 (a) of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972. Accordingly the officer will stand relieved from the duties on the afternoon of 28-02-2022.

NOTIFICATION OF THE SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

(SUB SECTION 1 OF SECTION) (4)

F.No. 34/45/2021-LR :- Lakshadweep Administration intends to acquire the following land for a public purpose as stated below, as per the relevant provisions of the 'The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013' for which Social Impact Assessment study has to be undertaken for the affected area as per Section 4 of the said Act read with Sub rule 1 of Rule 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014.

1. Project Developer - Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer, Lakshadweep

2. Brief Description about purpose - Land acquisition for the construction LPG Godown at Kalpeni of proposed acquisition of land Island. The project aims at providing storage facilities for

LPG cylinders coming from mainland for further distribution in the Islands.

3. Extent of Land to be acquired - Survey Nos. 282/18A2-900 Sqm.

4. Project Area to be covered - Measuring 900 Sqm. land proposed for the construction of under S.I.A. LPG Godown for serving public interest at large.

5. Affected Area to be covered - Yes under S.I.A.

6. Requirement of consent of - Mandatory Gram Sabha and the interested parties

Social Impact Assessment Activities :-

1. Consultations - With all the concerned stakeholders of the proposed area

including the Gram Sabha

2. Survey (Organization - Social Impact Assessment and Consent Society, Union undertake the study) Territory of Lakshadweep will complete survey of the

proposed area under acquisition within 2 (Two) months from the date of publication of this Notification

3. Public hearing/s - S.I.A. Unit will decide the time and place for public

hearing before submitting the S.I.A. report.

4. Timeline - S.I.A. report and Social Impact Management Plan should

be completed within 2 (Two) months from the date of issuance of this notification and to be published on the notice board of Collectorate, Lakshadweep and concerned Gram Panchayat.
