No. 6-7/EC/LKD/2022 : In exercise of the powers vested in it under sub-rule (1) of Rule 8 of the Lakshadweep Panchayats (Election Procedure) Rules, 2022 and in supersession of its earlier notifications issued in this regard, the Election Commission for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, in consultation with the Administrator of the said Union Territory, hereby appoints Shri. A.Vikranth Raja, IAS, Secretary, Environment & Forests as the Director of Panchayat Elections in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, with immediate effect.
