NOTIFICATION
F.No.34/8/2019-LR/513:- Preliminary Notification No.F.No.34/06/2019-LR, dated 27.12.2022, was issued with approval of the competent authority, for the acquisition of land measuring a total of 1970 Sqm in Kadmat Island for the construction of LTTD Plant.
2. Declaration under Section 19 of the RFCTLARR, 2013 was issued vide F.No.34/06/2019-LR, dated 24.05.2023. The Multiplication factor for rural areas of Lakshadweep was notified vide F.No.34/08/2015-LR (Part) dated 07.02.2024. Subsequently, the notice under Section 21 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 was issued on 11.03.2024.
3. Considering the notification of multiplication factor in the February, 2024 and the need for sufficient time to exercise due diligence in preparation of Final Award thereof, the validity of Section 19 Declaration dated 24.05.2023 (valid for 12 months, i.e., till 24.05.2024), is hereby extended by another 12 months (i.e., till 24.05.2025).
4. This is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
