NOTIFICATION
F.NO.34/87/2022-LR :- Preliminary Notification F.No.34/87/2022-LR/795 dated 22.08.2023, was issued with approval of the Competent Authority, for the acquisition of land measuring a total of 400 Sqm in Kalpeni Island for the construction of Play Ground in Government Junior Basic School .
2. As per Section 19 (7) of the RFCTLARR, 2013, if no declaration is made under Section 19 (1) within 12 months from the date of Preliminary Notification, then such notifica- tion shall be deemed to have been rescinded. In this regard the declaration in the extant land acquisition matter could not be issued as on date, owing to time taken obtaining suitability certificate for the identified land from the Department of Education.
3. Accordingly, the Preliminary Notification F.No.34/87/2022-LR/795 dated 22.08.2023 for acquisition of land measuring a total of 400 Sqm in Kalpeni Island is hereby extended by another 12 months (i.e., till 22.08.2025).
