NOTIFICATION
In exercise of powers conferred under Section 45 of the Mental Health Care Act., 2017 read along with Notification of GoI, S.O. 1557 (E) vide F.No.U-11020/2/2022-UTL dated 1st April 2025, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to constitute the Union Territory Mental Health Authority as below :

| One eminent Psychiatrist from the state, not in Govt. Services to be nominated by the State Government. | Member |
| One Mental Health Professional (AYUSH) as defined in item (iii) of the clause (q) of sub section (i) of Section 2 having atleast fifteen years' experience in the field, to be nominated by the State Govt. | Member |

| Two persons representing persons who have or have had Mental illness | Member |

The Authority shall excercise all powers conferred to them vide the Mental Health Care Act, 2017.
