In exercise of the power conferred under sub section (1) of Section 4 of the Wildlife (Protection ) Act, 1972 and in suppression of the notification F.No.9/13/2001-E&F dated.18.10.2017, Shri. Rajthilak S., IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forests, Department of Environment and Forest is appointed as Chief Wildlife Warden, Union Territory of Lakshadweep with immediate effect.
