NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 20 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.SO 2506 (E) dated.28.06.2024, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep hereby establish "Directorate of Prosecution" headed by Director of Prosecution under the Home Department, Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration.
The Directorate of Prosecution shall function in accordance with the provisions contained in the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 and such other rules and instructions as may be issued by the Administration from time to time.
