क्रमांक- 50 /2622/ 2018 /10-2 अधिसूचना का निम्नलिखित प्रारूप, जिसे राज्य सरकार, जैव विविधता अधिनियम, 2002 (2003 का 18) की धारा 37 की उप- धारा (1 ) एवं मध्यप्रदेश जैव विविधता नियम , 2004 के नियम 22 के उप नियम (1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग में लाते हुए, राज्य सरकार, मध्यप्रदेश राज्य जैव विविधता मण्डल के परामर्श से, एतदद्वारा, जारी करने का प्रस्ताव करती है , ऐसे व्यक्तियों की जानकारी के लिए जिनके कि उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना है, प्रकाशित करती है तथा एतदद्वारा यह सूचना दी जाती है कि अधिसूचना के उक्त प्रारूप पर मध्यप्रदेश राजपत्र में इस सूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से साठ दिनों की कालावधि का अवसान होने पर विचार किया जाएगा ।
किन्हीं भी ऐसी आपत्तियों या सुझावों पर, जो उक्त अधिसूचना के प्रारूप के संबंध में किसी व्यक्ति से ऊपर विनिर्दिष्ट कालावधि का अवसान होने के पूर्व, सदस्य सचिव, मध्यप्रदेश राज्य जैव विविधता मंडल , 26 , किसान भवन , प्रथम तल, अरेरा हिल्स, भोपाल को प्राप्त हों, विचार किया जाएगा ।

चूंकि, पातालकोट, मध्यप्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा जिले में स्थित है एवं प्रस्तावित स्थल वन वृत्त छिंदवाड़ा (पूर्व एवं पश्चिम , छिंदवाड़ा, वन मण्डल) वन विभाग मध्यप्रदेश के स्वामित्व के अधीन संरक्षित वन क्षेत्र 8367.49 हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है ।

और चूंकि, प्रस्तावित स्थल 1700 फीट गहरी घाटी तथा 6 मिलियन वर्ष की अनुमानित आयु, पारिस्थितिकी एवं दुर्लभ वानस्पति एवं प्राणियों, जिसमें ब्रायोफाइटस एवं टेरिडोफाइटस भी सम्मिलित हैं , वाला अनूठा भू- भाग रखता है ।
और चूंकि, स्थानीय समुदाय विशेषकर भारिया को जंगली पेड़- पौधों एवं जड़ी- बूटियों का अनोखा पारंपरिक ज्ञान है जिसका उपयोग वे प्रभावी औषधियाँ बनाने करते हैं ।
और चूंकि , पारिस्थितिकी एवं जैव विविधता के दृष्टिकोण से ऐसे क्षेत्र, विस्तार तथा सीमाओं को, जो इस अधिसूचना की अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट हैं, जैव विविधता विरासत स्थल के रूप में संरक्षित और सुरक्षित किया जाना आवश्यक है ।

NOTICE
No 50 /2622/2018/ 10-2 The following draft of the notification which the State Government proposes to issue in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of the Section 37 of the Biological Diversity Act , 2002 ( 18 of 2003 ) and sub -rule ( 1 ) of rule 22 of Madhya Pradesh Biological Diversity Rules , 2004 , the State Government , in consultation with Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board , hereby, publishes for the information of such persons likely to be effected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft of notification shall be taken into consideration on the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date of publication of this notice in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette .
Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect of the said draft of notification before the expiry of the period specified above by the Member Secretary, Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board , 26, Kisan Bhawan , 1st floor , Arera hill , Bhopal shall be considered by the State Government.
DRAFT NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Patalkot is located in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh and the proposed site is spread over 8367.49 hactre area of protected forest under the ownership of Chhindwara Forest Circle (East and West Chhindwara Forest division) , Madhya Pradesh Forest department.
AND WHEREAS, the proposed site has unique terrain of 1700ft . deep valley and ecosystem of estimated age of 6 Million year and species of rare flora & fauna including rare Bryophytes and Pteridophytes .
AND WHEREAS , the local community especially Bharias, has unique traditional knowledge of forest plants and herbs which they use to make effective medicines .
AND WHEREAS , it is necessary to conserve and protect the area, the extent and boundaries of which is specified in Schedule of this notification as the Biodiversity Heritage Site from ecological and biodiversity point ofview.

1. The Management Plan for conservation of the natural flora and fauna of the Biodiversity Heritage Site area .
2. Capacity building programme ( s) for front line staff of Forest Department , Eco-tourism Programme, Forest Dwellers and Tribals to conserve biodiversity .
3. The propagation of species for In - situ and Ex - situ conservation .
