THE MADHYA PRADESH APPROPRIATION BILL , 2022
A Bill to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Madhya Pradesh for the services of the Financial Year 2021-2022 .
Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Seventy - third year of the Republic of India as follows :-
Short title .
1. This Act maybe called the Madhya Pradesh Appropriation Act , 2022 .
Issue of Rs . 1,52,32,20,98,499 from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for the Financial Year 2021-22 .
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Madhya Pradesh there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column ( 3 ) of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sums of Rs . Fifteen thousand two hundred thirty two crore twenty lakh ninety eight thousand four hundred ninety nine towards defraying the several charges which shall come in the course of payment during the Financial Year 2021-2022 in respect of services and purposes specified in column ( 2) of the Schedule .
Appropriation.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Madhya Pradesh by this Act , shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year .

STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS
This Bill is introduced in pursuance of article 204 ( 1) read with article 205 of the Constitution of India to provide for the appropriation from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Madhya Pradesh of the moneys required to meet the supplementary expenditure charged on the Consolidated Fund of the State of Madhya Pradesh and the grants made by the Legislative Assembly for expenditure of the Government of Madhya Pradesh for the Financial Year 2021-22 .
2. Hence this Bill .
