THE MAHDYA PRADESH LADLI LAXMI ( BALIKA PROTSAHAN ) SANSHODHAN VIDHEYAK, 2022
A Bill Further to amend the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi ( Balika Protsahan ) Adhiniyam , 2018 .
Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the seventy- third year of the Republic of India as follows :-
Short title and commencement .
1. (1 ) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi (Balika Protsahan ) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam , 2022 .
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette .
Substitution of Section 5.
2. For section 5 of the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi (Balika Protsahan) Adhiniyam , 2018 (No. 29 of 2018 ) , the following section shall be substituted , namely:-
Benefits .
"5. ( 1 ) The beneficiary shall be entitled to receive a total sum of one lac forty three thousand rupees under this sub- section and sub- section ( 2) from time to time as below:-
Rs. 2000
(i) At the time of admission to class 6th
(ii) At the time of admission to class 9th Rs. 4000
(iii) At the time of admission to class 11th Rs. 6000
Rs. 6000
(iv) At the time of admission to class 12th
(v) At the time of admission in graduation or professional course (minimum two years duration) , after class 12th .
Rs . 25000 ( in two equal instalments in the first and last years of the course duration).
(2) The beneficiary shall be entitled to receive an amount of one lac rupees on attaining the age of 21 years subject to the condition that she has appeared in examination of class 12th , and if she is married then such marriage was solemnised after attaining the minimum age as specified in the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act , 2006 ( No. 6 of 2007) . " .
STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS
In order to provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojna for completing their graduation or professional course after class 12th , it is proposed to amend section 5 of the Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi ( Balika Protsahan) Adhiniyam , 2018 ( No. 29 of 2018 ) suitably.
2. Hence this Bill .
