क्रमांक TRP / 15 / 0007 / 2025 - Sec - 1-08 (TRP) : मध्यप्रदेश मोटरयान कराधान अधिनियम, 1991 ( क्रमांक 25 सन् 1991 ) की धारा 23 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग में लाते हुए , राज्य सरकार , एतद्द्वारा , पूर्व में मध्यप्रदेश राजपत्र ( असाधारण) , दिनांक 10 अक्टूबर , 2025 में सूचना के रूप में प्रकाशन किया गया था , अब उक्त अधिनियम की अनुसूची में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
संशोधन
उक्त अधिनियम में, -
1. प्रथम अनुसूची में, मद चार में,-
(क) उप - मद (1 ) में, -
(एक) खंड (क) में, कॉलम (1 ) में, शब्द " शहरी मार्गों के स्थान पर, शब्द "नगरीय मार्गों " स्थापित किए जाएं ;

(दो) खण्ड (ख ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित खण्ड स्थापित किया जाए , अर्थात्ः-
150 प्रति सीट प्रति
" (ख ) उप- नगरीय क्षेत्रों तक
तिमाही; " ;
विस्तारित नगरीय मार्गों पर, जैसा कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा अधिसूचित किया जाए
(ख ) उप- मद (3 ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित उप - मद स्थापित की जाए , अर्थात्ः-
" (3 ) (क) मोटरयान अधिनियम, 1988 ( 1988 का 59) की धारा 72 के अधीन मंजिली गाड़ी के रूप में उन मार्गों पर चलाए जाने के लिए अनुज्ञात यान , जिन मार्गों को मद चार की उप - मद
(1 ) के खण्ड (क) एवं (ख ) में विनिर्दिष्ट नहीं किया गया है तथा जहां प्रतिदिन तय की जाने वाली अनुज्ञेय दूरी:-
(एक ) 100 कि.मी. से अधिक नहीं है
200 प्रति सीट प्रति माह
12 प्रति सीट प्रति माह
(दो) तत्पश्चात् प्रत्येक 10 कि. मी. या उसके भाग के लिए
(ख) मोटरयान अधिनियम, 1988
(1988 का 59) की धारा 87 की उप -धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड (ग) के अधीन मंजिली गाड़ी के रूप में चलाए जाने के लिए अनुज्ञात यान , जिन मार्गों को मद चार की उप - मद ( 1 ) के खण्ड (क) एवं (ख ) में विनिर्दिष्ट नहीं किया गया है
मद चार की उप - मद (2) में उल्लिखित मोटरयान कर के अतिरिक्त, अनुज्ञापत्र के अनुसार एक दिन में यान द्वारा तय की गई दूरी के प्रत्येक 10 कि.मी. या उसके भाग के लिए रू . 12 प्रति सीट प्रति माह; ";

(ग) उप- मद (4 ) का लोप किया जाए ;
(घ ) उप- मद (6) में, खण्ड (ड. ) में, उप - खंड (एक ) में, कॉलम (2 ) में , अंक " 12 " के स्थान पर , अंक " 18 " स्थापित किया जाए ;
(ड. ) उप- मद (7 ) के पश्चात्, स्पष्टीकरण 1 के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित स्पष्टीकरण स्थापित किया जाए , अर्थात्ः-
"स्पष्टीकरण 1.- किसी यान की कुल बैठक क्षमता ऐसे यान के पंजीयन प्रमाण- पत्र में यथा अभिलिखित उसकी बैठक, स्टैंडिंग तथा स्लीपर क्षमता का योग होगा तथा ऐसे यान के लिए मोटरयान कर, यान के पंजीयन प्रमाण पत्र में दर्ज कुल बैठक क्षमता में से चालक सीट घटाने के उपरांत शेष बैठक क्षमता पर गणना की जाएगी । " ।
2. द्वितीय अनुसूची में , मद 8 के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित मद स्थापित की जाए , अर्थात्ः-
"8. मालयान, -
(क) 7500 किलोग्राम तक के सकलयान भार वाले-
(एक) पूर्ण निर्मित बॉडी युक्त मालयान
यान के मानक मूल्य का 8 प्रतिशत
(दो) मालयान का चेसिस
यान के मानक मूल्य का 9 प्रतिशत मध्यप्रदेश राजपत्र, दिनांक 29 जनवरी 2026

(ख) 7500 किलोग्राम से अधिक सकलयान भार वाले-
(एक) पूर्ण निर्मित बॉडी युक्त मालयान
यान के मानक मूल्य का 5 प्रतिशत
मालयान का चेसिस
(दो)
यान के मानक मूल्य का 6 प्रतिशत । " ।
स्पष्टीकरण. - मालयान के चेसिस की दशा में, निर्धारित मोटरयान कर , उक्त मालयान के चेसिस के मानक मूल्य पर ही उदग्रहनीय होगा । " |
No. TRP / 15 / 0007 / 2025 - Sec - 1-08 (TRP) : In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Madhya Pradesh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam , 1991 ( No. 25 of 1991) , the State Government , hereby , makes the following further amendments in the Schedule of the said Act , the same having been previously published as notice in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette ( Extraordinary) , dated 10th October , 2025 , namely: -
AMENDMENTS
In the said Act , -
1. in the First Schedule , in item IV , -
(a) in sub - item ( 1 ) , -
(i) in clause ( a) , in column ( 1 ) , for the words " city routes " , the words " urban routes" shall be substituted ;
(ii) for clause (b) , the following clause shall be substituted , namely: -
150 per seat perquarter; " ;
"(b) On urban routes extended to the sub- urban areas , as may be notified by the State Government 46(3)

(b) For sub - item (3 ) , the following sub - item shall be substituted , namely : -
" (3) ( a) Vehicle permitted to ply as a stage carriage under section 72 of the Motor Vehicles Act , 1988 ( 59 of 1988 ) , on routes not specified in clause ( a) and (b) of sub- item ( 1) of item IV and where the permissible distance to be covered per day is : -
Rs . 200 per seat ( i) does not exceed 100 km

Rs . 12 per seat
per month
( ii ) thereafter for every 10 km or part thereof
(b) Vehicles permitted to ply as stage carriage under clause ( c) of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 87 of the Motor Vehicles Act , 1988 (59 of 1988 ) , on routes not specified in clause ( a) and (b) of sub - item ( 1 ) of item IV
In addition to the Motor Vehicle Tax mentioned in sub- item ( 2) of item IV, for every 10 km or part thereof of the distance travelled by the vehicle in a day , as per the permit , Rs . 12 per seat per month; " ;

(c) sub - item (4 ) shall be omitted ;
(d) in sub - item (6) , in clause ( e) , in sub - clause (i ) , in column (2) , for the figure " 12 " , the figure " 18 " shall be substituted ;
(e) after sub - item (7) , for Explanation 1 , the following explanation shall be substituted , namely : -
"Explanation 1.- The total seating capacity of a vehicle shall be the sum of its seating , standing and sleeper capacity , as recorded in the certificate of registration of such vehicle and the Motor Vehicle Tax for such vehicle shall be calculated on the remaining seating capacity , after deducting the driver seat from the total seating capacity , recorded in the registration certificate of the vehicle . " .
2 . In the Second Schedule , for item 8 , the following item shall be substituted , namely : -
" 8. Goods vehicle-
( a) With gross vehicle weight upto 7500 kilogram-
8% of standard price of vehicle (i) Goods vehicle with fully built body
(ii) Chassis of goods vehicle 9% of standard price of vehicle 46(5)

(b) With gross vehicle weight exceeding 7500 kilogram-
( i ) Goods vehicle with fully built body 5% of standard price of vehicle
( ii) Chassis of goods vehicle 6% of standard price of vehicle .
Explanation.- In case of chassis of goods vehicle , the prescribed Motor Vehicle Tax shall be leviable only on the standard price of the chassis of the said goods vehicle . " .
