Whereas, the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 has come in to force with effect from 3rd of September 1971 in the area within the limits of Municipal Corporation of the City of Amravati by the Government of Maharashtra vide Notification of Urban Development No. SCA-1571-35325-F-III, dated 3rd September 1971.
And whereas, vide Notification No. SCS-1076-4528-CR-533-a-VII, dated 10th February, 1984, I, Dy. Commis- sioner Municipal Corporation of the City of Amravati is appointed as Competent Authority for the Purpose of the said act by the Government of Maharashtra and satisfied that the areas specified in the Schedule, here to (here after referred to as the "said areas") as a source of danger to health safety or convenience of the public of that areas even neighbourhoods because of the lack of basic amenities of insanitary conditions of over crowding have referred them insanitary, squalid or otherwise.
Now, there of, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under sub-section (b) (ii) of the Section A of Maharashtra Slum Area Improvement Clearance and Redevelopment Act 1971, declared the said areas to be Slum Area, the Plan on the said areas can be inspected at the office of the Dy. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of the City of Amravati and the Chief Officer, Amravati Housing and Area Development Board, Amravati. The necessary Slum Improvement works intended to be carried out in the aforementioned areas as listed below.—
(i) Public latrines single or grouped.
(ii) Sewer lines, Waste water drains, strom water drains.
(iii) Water mains and brances and hand-pumps.
(iv) Widening, re-aligning and paving of existing lanes, roads and pathways, construction of new roads or pathways and other lanes.
(v) Street Lights.
(vi) Demolition of dilapidated and obstructive buildings. Any person aggrieved by the aforesaid declaration of Slum Improvement Areas may appeal to the Tribunal located at Gruha Nirman Bhawan, Kala Nagar, Bandra (East), Mumbai-51, within 30 days from date of declaration.

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by Order No. SEC.-NP-2016-P.K.07-KA-06, dated 7th May 2016 of the State Election Commission, Maharashtra, the Chief Officer of the Municipal Council, Shegaon, proposes to make the following Draft Order under sub-section (1), (5) of Section 10 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Town- ships Act, 1965 (Mah. XL of 1965) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to fix for the Shegaon Municipal Council, the number and the extent of the wards into which the extended limit of Municipal area shall be divided and to specify the wards reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class of Citizens and Women (including Women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Backward Class of Citizens), as the case may be as shown in the Schedule to the Draft Order bearing No. 342-UDB-Desk-2-CR-2018, dated 16th February 2018 was published as required by the proviso to sub-section (1), (5) of Section 10 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 for information to the residents of the Shegaon Municipal Council. As no objection are received in respect of the draft, the Divisional Commis- sioner and Regional Director, Municipal Administration, Amravati accorded his sanctions to the Draft Order of Shegaon Munici- pal Council by letter No. VAA-PSNP-AK-KAVI-73-18, dated 12-3-2018, I, Chandrakant Pulkundwar, the Collector of Buldhana District in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (1), (5) of Section 10 of the said Act, hereby make the following order namely.—

Whereas, the Regional Director and Divisional Commissioner, Amravati, by his Order No. RDMA-LRCO-Election-Ws-367- 2017, dated 15th December 2017 issued under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah. XL of 1965) has fixed for the Shegaon Municipal Council the number of councillors to be elected and the number of seats to be reserved for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens and Women (including the number of seats reserved for women belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens), as shown below :—
